Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible for your data

P.IVA 02769930062

E-mail: ciao@easyitalianwithlaura.com

2. What we collect

  • Through the forms: name, email address, Italian level, availability, learning goals, your message, time zone, and whether you want the newsletter.
  • How you found the site: the page you used, the referring page and campaign tags (UTM), sent together with the form.
  • For security: your IP address is used briefly to block spam and abuse.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

  • Answering your enquiry and organising lessons or groups: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Newsletter: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Consent is separate from enquiries and can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Website security: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Asking about a course does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: only as long as needed to answer you and organise your lessons, and for invoiced lessons as long as the law requires. After that the data is deleted.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics (only if you allowed it): Google Analytics keeps data for up to 14 months.

5. Who else sees it

Your data is never sold. It is processed only by the services the website needs: hosting Mervantis OÜ, (EU); emails and newsletter Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France); email forwarding and website protection Cloudflare; visit measurement Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd), only with your consent.

Transfers outside the EU: Cloudflare and Google may also process data in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. YouTube videos and analytics

Videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play. From that moment Google’s privacy terms apply.

Google Analytics loads only if you allow analytics in the cookie banner (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). No advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to ciao@easyitalianwithlaura.com. You also have the right to complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the authority in your own country.

8. Unsubscribing

Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also simply write to ciao@easyitalianwithlaura.com.
